Optical Illusion Lesson for the day. Whats an optical illusion?
So what is an optical illusion or visual illusion-It is when something is characterized by visually perceived images that trick the viewer. The evidence which is received by the eyes is analyzed by the brain to give you a perception that does not equal the physical measurement of the stimulus source. There are many types but two main types of illusion are – physiological illusions that are the effects on the eyes and brain of excessive stimulation of a specific type – brightness, tilt, color, movement, and cognitive illusions where the eye and brain make unconscious inferences and cognitive illusions where the eye and brain make unconscious inferences.
