Prayer
That thing we do when we feel all is lost is called praying.
We often find ourselves in those moments of darkness that seem to bring only a bad taste to our existence, and as we throw our hands up to the skies, bring them down and clasp them together, we hope for that one thing that will save us.
We pray and hope that our pleas are answered.
In our minds we relive all the images of the wrongs we have done. The jokes we have told about the fat sloppy guy who pants always seem to fall down (after we stole his belt), the drunken friend we took pictures of and posted on the internet, the ugly girl who we asked to meet us for a date (and gave her the wrong address and city), the times we tasered our neighbors dog and then tasered our neighbor after he caught us.
We think of the times we went to confession and used sins we read in a book as our sins, just to shock the priest, the numerous times we stuck the , “Kick Me Hard” sign on the back of some goofy nerdy kid, the times we put a dead rat on our teachers desk and howled with laughter as we blamed it on that same nerdy goofy kid.
All these things and more flash though our minds when we get into one of those, “I Need a Prayer Situation”.
Pretty much like the guy in the following MOTIVATIONAL POSTER FOR PRAYER
